The AdderLink Series are easy to use KVM extenders that provide a convenient method of remotely controlling a PC over existing Category 5 cabling. Different than a video amplifier, the AdderLinks work in pairs. The transmitter receives the keyboard, video and mouse signals from the CPU and resends the information to the receiver, which is connected to the remote KVM station. A second CPU can also be connected directly to the AdderLink receiver for switched access between local and remote CPUs (Silver and Gold versions only). Distances up to 200m can be achieved with SVGA video resolutions and standard Category 5 cabling. Great for securing CPUs in one central location or just saving desktop space. Three models are available, one for just KVM signals (ALTX-CAT5) one for dual user support with no audio (ALSX-CAT5) and one for dual user support plus microphone/stereo outputs (ALGTX-CAT5).
